Meg Delp, licensed therapist and head of the NAMI StigmaFree Workplace initiative, shares strategies employers can adopt to meaningfully take care of their employees’ mental health. In conversation, Meg touches on the intersection of mental and social health, including the challenge of balancing caregiving with work responsibilities; the importance of matching resources with the employee population in order to be truly effective; and how to create a culture of care, where employees feel safe to bring their whole selves to work.

About the speaker

Meg Delp, PsyD LMFT, is an Organizational Psychologist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with specialized training in trauma, burnout, and relationships. Currently, Meg serves as the Director of Workplace Mental Health at the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). In this role, she leads the NAMI StigmaFree Workplace initiative, which focuses on fostering mentally healthy workplaces nationwide. Through the NAMI StigmaFree Workplace initiative, Meg oversees NAMI’s Annual Workplace Mental Health Survey and develops practical resources for corporate partners on key mental health topics. She also collaborates closely with NAMI State Organizations and Local Affiliates to provide tailored support to communities, ensuring people receive the mental health support they need both at work and beyond.
