Validating a New Category of Care

Papa's 2025 Partner Summit

Creating and scaling a category-defining model requires continual monitoring, measuring, and adapting based on results. Dozens of studies conducted over the years—some by external actuary partners and others independently by clients themselves—have validated the impact of Papa’s novel companion care model.

These studies, conducted among different populations using different approaches, all point toward the same trends and positive impact: Papa members demonstrate more informed use of healthcare services and lower medical costs.

Papa's Head of Research and Impact, Kelsey McNamara, and Tim Murray, Principal at Wakely Consulting Group, explored the evidence and their implications at Papa's 2025 Partner Summit. Learn more about these findings and our approach to research and impact in the video below.
